  • Future Submarine Program Support System Modelling

    BMT was awarded a contract to model the Australian Future Submarine Program Support System in early 2018 using Discrete Event Simulation (DES), developing a highly complex modelling tool. Modelling of the Future Submarine support system includes examining all facilities, infrastructure, workforce and supply chain elements supporting the submarine fleet. BMT is using DES to quantify the long-term sustainment requirements of the submarines and assist with mitigating risk and making informed decisions.
