Navy Technical Regulatory Framework
BMT Design & Technology has been accredited as a Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) Technical Support Agency under the Navy Technical Regulatory Framework (NTRF). The Navy Technical Regulatory System (NTRS) is made up of the resources that, when combined, will provide considerable assurance that risks associated with navy systems are tolerable and that these systems are safe and environmentally compliant within the scope of their designed usage. Achieving this accreditation enables BMT Design & Technology to provide technical support to DMO Maritime Projects through the Technical Support Network.
Approval of our application has been received from the Centre for Maritime Engineering (CME) to operate alongside them in the role of Design Acceptance Representative for SPOs and other Australian government authorities. This approval includes Level 2 Engineering Authority in structures, stability and platform systems.
Through our selection as a preferred supplier under the DMO Support Services (DMOSS) contract, the engineering capacity and competency of BMT Design & Technology has been established and as such provides confidence in the credibility and capability that we have to offer.
