BMT Design & Technology employee places third in Sri Chinmoy 30km road race

On the 22nd July, BMT Design & Technology employee John Woodman celebrated a third place in the Sri Chinmoy 30km road race at Princes Park in Melbourne. The 8am race start saw some cold but still conditions, perfect for racing. John started strongly on the 6 lap course, working his way through the field to be in second place at the 15km mark. From here, John was unable to make up the 1 minute advantage of the eventual race winner, and was overtaken within 2 km of the finish line to finish a close third. However, his time of 1 hour 59 minutes and 6 seconds was a new Personal Best, and a promising race in his training for the Sydney Marathon in September.
