Formed in early 2005, BMT Design & Technology Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of the successful United Kingdom based parent company BMT Ltd. BMT Design & Technology is an independent professional engineering organisation with key skills covering naval architecture, marine engineering, rolling stock engineering, maintenance optimisation, crowd management, systems engineering and safety.
At the heart of BMT Design & Technology is a dedicated, highly motivated and qualified workforce, whose core skills and experience form the basis of a capability to deliver tailored solutions to customer requirements, drawing as it does on the combined experience of individuals with backgrounds in the armed services, government defence agencies and related industries. This enables the company's clients to draw on the knowledge and experience of people who represent the "best of breed" in their respective areas of expertise.
The company is growing organically by recruiting graduates from Australian tertiary education institutions as well as more experienced naval architects and engineers with appropriate knowledge and background.
